The Denver Life Magazine Designer Showhouse project began in 2013, and has raised nearly $175,000 for its charitable partners. For the last six years and again in 2020, 100 percent of the proceeds went directly to Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver.
Denver Life Magazine partnered with local Caliber Construction and fourteen Denver interior designers who volunteered their time to design spaces in this “market-ready” home in Wash Park. The home was designed by Alvarez Morris Architecture to blend into the historic area near Wash Park and South High School. The overall interior design concept is Organic Modern.
Despite the global pandemic, the showhouse proceeded and powered through a 5 week delay. Both virtual and in-person tours were able to proceed in order to raise money for Habitat for Humanity.
Tennille Wood of Beautiful Habitat was selected to design the modern kitchen and the kitchen nook spaces.
