After living in this Broomfield home for many years, the homeowners desired a major update so they could love it for another 20+ years. They contacted Beautiful Habitat with the requests to modernize the home with clean lines, a contemporary feel and high-contrast finishes.

Modern Kitchen Design Colorado — The large kitchen has an easy workflow for serious cooking. The small island creates the perfect prep area without being a large obstacle to maneuver around. The clients wanted a real chef’s kitchen including a Wolf range and dramatic vent hood.

The cabinets are an up-to-the-minute design featuring a combination of rift-sawn white oak mixed with black base cabinets. Instead of shaker style, the designer selected a micro-rail cabinet door for a more modern style. The graphic backsplash of white, gray and black marble ties everything together.

Living Room Decorating Colorado — The Family Room has a fresh design that eliminated the dated “TV hole” and updated the space with a modern linear fireplace and enclosed storage. The tall cabinets match with white oak cabinets in the kitchen. Touches of blue were incorporated as the clients’ favorite color.
