The minds behind the design
Founder and Principal Designer
Tennille Wood has been designing homes across Colorado for nearly twenty years. She’s known for her strong eye for color, pattern, and often-overlooked design opportunities.
After studying interior design in London, Tennille came to appreciate how older buildings and long-standing architectural traditions continue to inspire how we live today. She takes notes from classic European influences and pairs them with the relaxed, lived-in Colorado vibe. Her projects range from new construction and large remodels to updates of historic farmhouses and bungalows.
When she’s not working, Tennille stays inspired through travel and time outdoors. You might find her surfing in Bali, wandering through museums abroad, or running relays through the Rocky Mountains.
Senior Designer
Jennifer joined Beautiful Habitat in 2015 as a design intern and has grown with the studio. She now leads projects as a senior designer, working across a range of styles and scopes.
Jennifer is a graduate of Arapahoe Community College’s interior design program and brings a broad perspective shaped by her interests in photography, architecture, fine art, and landscape design. She’s detail-oriented, collaborative, and lives for the special touches that bring a space together.
Outside the studio, Jennifer spends time with family and friends, cheers on Denver sports teams, and finds inspiration through travel, art, and nature.
Project Administrator
Tracey brings more than twenty years of project management expertise to the Beautiful Habitat team. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gwynedd Mercy and has worked in marketing, start-ups, nonprofit organizations, and healthcare.
At the studio, Tracey manages day-to-day operations for each project. When she’s not working, Tracey loves styling her own home, spending time with her family and two dogs, and tracking down fun new restaurants—bonus points if they have great desserts!
“We never doubted Tennille, and every idea she brought to us was perfect, down to the placement of the artwork on the walls. ”
